Deleting your BridgeBuild account

How to ask for your account on the BridgeBuild app to be deleted, what is deleted, and what is kept and for how long.

Who this is for

This page is for anyone with an account on the BridgeBuild app (on Google Play as "BridgeBuild", app.bridgebuild.mobile). The app is made by Bridge Street Investments Company, 7 Airport Road, Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria. Your account belongs to the company you work for, its "workspace", and that company's admins look after it.

How to ask

1. In the app. Open the app and sign in. Tap your initials at the top right, then Your account, then Delete my account, and confirm. Your request goes to your company's admins.
2. Without the app. Email support@bridgebuild.app from your account's email address and name your workspace. We confirm the request with you and pass it to your company's admins. If the company no longer exists, or you cannot reach it, we act on it ourselves.
3. If a company shared a project with you. Sign in, open Your account at the foot of any page, tap Delete my account, and confirm. The company removes your name, email and phone, and you are signed out.

What is deleted

Your account is removed: you can no longer sign in, and your name and contact details are erased. Any phone signed in to your account is signed out, and its notification registration is removed. To remove what the app keeps on your phone, uninstall it.

What is kept, and for how long

Your company keeps the records it is required to hold, such as invoices, payments and the work recorded in its workspace, without your name on them, for as long as the law requires it to keep them. Error logs are kept for a short period and then discarded.

How long it takes

A request made in the app goes straight to your company's admins, who delete the account. A request by email is confirmed with you and acted on within 30 days.
